The 70th anniversary of the Trenton Santa Claus Parade is this Sunday, November 26th.
The parade leaves the Community Gardens (Centennial Park) at 4:30 p.m. It then follows Campbell St., turns left on Dundas St. E., and goes over the Veteran Skyway Bridge. It goes through downtown Trenton along Dundas St. W., eventually ending at Queen Street. All of those streets will be closed at or around 4:30 p.m., and surrounding streets will also be affected, according to the OPP.
This year’s parade is dedicated to a longtime volunteer, Bryan Swartman. Bryan has retired from the parade after being the Parade Marshall for close to 40 years.
If you get to Centennial Park early you can also enjoy a free hot dog and hot chocolate before and during the Trenton Santa Claus Parade while supplies last! That begins at 3:30 p.m.
