Most of Belleville is out of power.
Elexicon Energy first reported issues just before 9 a.m.
The cause and restoration time on their website is listed as unknown.
Up to 5,000 customers are without power from Charles Street in the east end of Belleville, through the downtown core, up as far as College Street, and as far west as Wallbridge-Loyalist Road.
Loyalist College in Belleville does still have power, along with the Quinte Mall area which is not impacted.
Outages continue further west along Hamilton Road, right through the Murray Ward, and towards Baltimore.
