Visitors and patients at Campbellford Memorial Hospital will start to notice some changing regarding COVID-19 safety measures.
Staff have released a statement today about their procedure going forward as of June 30.
COVID-19 screeners will no longer be at the doors when people walk in to the hospital. Those who are entering the hospital outside of the Emergency Department will be asked to do a self-screening.
Masks will continue to be mandatory in all settings. The hospital only accepts surgical grade masks, as cloth masks are not recommended at this time.
Showing proof of vaccination will no long be required.
More entry points into the hospital will be opening up again for the first time since the pandemic. The main entrance and doors beside the Emergency Department will be open to everyone weekdays from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
