  • Much of the time 91X programs alternative rock, the only local station to offer this format. The primary target demographic with this format is adults 18-49. The listening audience is approximately a 60/40 split males to females. Yes, 91X is located at a college, but that by no means restricts the listening audience to students. With a full-power signal that covers the entire Quinte area, 91X listeners are also made up of workers, professionals, self-employed business people and young families. Most listeners are members of the community-at-large that like what they’re hearing, be it the unique music format or other feature programming.
  • 91X is unique in that it also has a secondary target audience. The 55+ listener is attracted to the wide range of arts programming that includes classical, jazz, big bands/swing, Broadway musicals and much more. These programs are generally broadcast on the weekends as well as selected late evenings. Check the program guide for specific details. You have the option of sponsoring a particular program or running your commercials throughout the schedule of arts programming.
    Of course, you can also run commercials during both types of programming to target these two age groups.
  • The 91X coverage area includes the entire Quinte area and beyond.
