Loyalist College President and CEO Dr. Ann Marie Vaughan stopped by our studio Tuesday afternoon to talk about the excitement in the hallways as we get set for another academic year.
They had over 1,000 students last year relocate to the region, and between them they spent $17.7 million dollars. Through the college’s economic study, Vaughan said that they generated $5 million in new income to this area.
The college has been making room for more students at residence, by adding 218 beds to make a total of 704 beds on campus.
If you are interested in renting a room in your house or have an apartment available please contact housing@loyalistcollege.com or visit loyalistcollege.com/welcome
The entire community is invited to join in as the college welcomes 800 new students and 400 returning students, with Friday Night Lights on August 6th.
You can cheer on the Loyalist Lancers varsity soccer team, as well as take part in a bus pull, and lots of games!
