This is Jordan Benjamin, AKA Grandson, new single since releasing his EP, “A Modern Tragedy, Vol. 2.” The 25-year-old singer-songwriter continues to raise social and political issues in a way that blends rock and infectious electronic beats. He was born in New Jersey but grew up in Toronto. Then later went to McGill University intending to become a teacher. He was a DJ around Montreal, before moving to Concordia University two years later to focus on a communications degree. He left in 2014 and moved to Los Angeles to pursue music
