Edmonton band The Royal Foundry continue to tour southern Ontario, to promote their second album, “WakeUp WakeUp.” Jared and Bethany Salte, along with cellist and drummer Robbie Szabo stopped by our 91X studio this week on their way to show in Guelph tonight.
The full interview features acoustic versions of “WakeUp WakeUp,” and “Hopefully”, which is now #21 on the Canadian Alt-Rock chart.
The duo formed the band in 2013, and won the Alberta Peak Performance Project prize in 2015 for their song “Running Away.” Their debut album, “Lost in Your Head” was released in 2017.
