Musician Phoebe Bridgers has created her own record label. Saddest Factory will reportedly be operated with the assistance of Dead Oceans, which is the label she is currently with.
There are multiple reports that she has signed her first act.
“The vision of the label is simple: good songs, regardless of genre,” said Bridgers in a statement.
Saddest Factory comes toward the end of a pretty big year overall. Her latest album “Punisher” was met with critical acclaim when it was released in June, and she continues to be a guest artist on many late-night shows.
