The actor many fans consider the best James Bond has passed away. Sean Connery died at his home in the Bahamas his family has confirmed with the BBC. The Scottish-born Connery was the original Bond cast in 1962’s Dr. No. He went on to reprise the character five more times in From Russia with Like (1963), Goldfinger (1964), Thunderball (1965), You Only Live Twice (1967), then one last time in 1983’s Never Say Never Again. Connery was knighted by Queen Elizabeth in 2000. He has been voted the best James Bond by numerous polls including IMDB. Connery was 90 and according to family had been unwell for a while. More here.
