Ontario recorded a record breaking 1,588 new cases of the virus on Saturday.
Kingston, Frontenac, Lennox, and Addington will move from the green to yellow zone on Monday. Under the province’s COVID-19 framework, the yellow (strengthened measures) category means that restaurants will have to stop serving alcohol by 11 pm before closing at midnight, and the schedule for recreational activities will be reviewed to allow for less people at one time, and more spacing.
Toronto and Peel will start the week off in lockdown.
