The CP Holiday Train has been traveling across North America raising money, collecting food, and drawing attention to the important work of local food banks.
17.8 Million Dollars and 4.8 Million pounds of food has been raised and sent to food banks since 1999.
At every stop in the trains journey, bands and artist perform for the people who help those in need.
But with the Coronavirus pandemic resulted in banning large gatherings, the train will not run.
“COVID-19 has created many challenges for communities across our network and has only increased the need at local food banks and food shelves,” CP president and chief executive officer Keith Creel said in a press release.
This years concert will be held online and will feature Serna Ryder, The Trews, Jojo Mason, Logan Staats and Kelly Prescott. The concert can be watched on Canadian Pacific’s Facebook page, and will go live on Dec. 12 at 8PM.
