Staff with Brighton have provided updates, as we all get ready for the provincial-wide lockdown starting on Boxing Day.
What will be closed starting Saturday:
- King Edward Park Arena and Community Centre
- Brighton Library
– Fully Closed December 24, 2021-January 3, 2021
– Curbside pickup January 4, 2021-January 23, 2021 - Public Works Operations Building (67 Sharp Road)
- Municipality of Brighton Administration Office (35 Alice Street)
Fire Station One Office
All council and committee meetings will continue to be held online in the new year.
Residents who pay their tax and water bills in person are advised to drop off the money in the Public Works Building dropbox, located at 67 Sharp Road.
Payments can be made online, including garbage bag tags.
Those in need of kits to test water are advised to go to the Haliburton, Kawartha, Pine Ridge Health Unit office in Port Hope, or drive to the municipal office in Trent Hills located in downtown Campbellford.
Parks owned by the municipality will continue to stay open during the lockdown.
