Belleville Police continue to investigate a homicide in the east end of the city.
Officers initially responded to the home Tuesday night for a well-being check. Police then say they had enough information to enter the residence and found a woman dead. The 62-year-old reportedly had signs of trauma. A 64-year-old man was also found.
As a result of an investigation, police have announced today that the accused is Michael Danese of Belleville. He is facing one count of first degree murder. He appeared in bail court earlier this week and has been remanded into custody. Danese’s next video court appearance is March 18.
