The City of Belleville has announced today that crews will be working on the Trans-Northern Pipeline starting April 1st. The maintenance and inspection of the area is expected to continue for the next four to eight weeks depending on weather and schedules.
The work will be happening in the area east of Sidney Street and north of Thurlow Drive which will be accessed through Hamilton Park.
Drilling will be done to inspect the pipeline and make repairs if required. Some drilling on private property will be required. Those residents impacted by the work will be receiving a notice from the company.
More information about the company and their commitment to operate safely is available in the TNPI’s Pipeline Safety in Your Community brochure.
