This week, our thoughts continue to be with all the frontline healthcare workers, as uncertain times around the pandemic continue.
The staff at Trenton Memorial Hospital Foundation have issued a statement as we mark National Nursing Week.
“TMHF is proud to acknowledge and support our local nurses, everyday but especially during Nurses’ Week. We
recognize that the nursing profession can be exhausting and challenging, but also incredibly gratifying. Now more
than ever, it is important to acknowledge that no matter what the landscape looks like, nurses are dedicated to
helping those in need,” said Executive Director Wendy Warner.
National Nursing Week also coincide with the birth of Florence Nightingale, who has been hailed as the founder of modern nursing.
TMHF continues to encourage residents to support their local hospital in whatever way they can.
You can nominate staff for a Shine Star through their Grateful Patient Program.

Proceeds collected from the community continue to support the purchase of priority medical equipment at the Trenton hospital.
