A group of local organizations in Prince Edward County are teaming up to show their support for healthcare workers during the third wave of the pandemic.
Rotary Clubs in Wellington and Picton, along with the Kiwanis Club of Picton, and a few other companies have teamed up to launch the Apricot Ribbon Program.
Organizers first sent over letter of appreciate and gift cards to staff at Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital.
Banners and signs will be going up across the County as apart of the campaign. Residents are encouraged to wear an apricot coloured ribbon.
If you would like to nominate a healthcare worker, send a message over to the Rotary Club of Picton through e-mail or their Facebook page.
For more information on how you can become involved, please reach out to Picton Rotary at www.pictonrotary.ca.
