In the first hour of Throwback Sunday today at 2:00pm, a song by Rheostatics that pays a sort of tribute to the famous WKRP character Herb Tarlek. Entitled The Tarleks, is seems to envision a world invaded from outer space by armies of plaid sports-jacketed Herb Tarleks. Weird? Sure, but a lot of fun. We’ll play the song, but also check out the video. Actor Frank Bonner, who played the slick sales guy in the iconic sitcom WKRP in Cincinnati, passed away this past week at age 79. A Throwback Sunday salute to Bonner and his outlandish & hilarious Herb Tarlek character!
