Parks Canada has issued an update about conditions along the Trent-Severn Waterway.
Staff say that boaters and visitors should expect to see higher than normal water levels and flows, along the Severn and Otonabee rivers.
This is due to the amount of rain we’ve been getting in the past two weeks.
Staff say that the “public should consider these overnight flows as non-navigable.”
Those in and around the water are advised to be extremely cautious.
