Health officials have announced that the recall is due to possible Hepatitis A contamination.
Hastings Prince Edward Public Health is now encouraging anyone who consumed the products in the last 14 days to get a Hepatitis A vaccine, if they haven’t already had one. This applies to anyone over the age of 6 months.
Local health officials are providing a drop-in vaccine clinic for the shots until August 13th. The drop in clinics will be held from Monday to Friday at 179 North Park Street in Belleville.
