Hastings Prince Edward Public Health has reported another gathering that has resulted in new COVID-19 cases.
The update is the second one this week for the region, after a bonfire is the source of an outbreak in Frankford.
Local health officials have announced that a case of COVID-19 has been linked to a graduation event on July 28 in Trenton and two house parties in Stirling on July 28th and 29th. The grad event is associated with Bayside Secondary School.
Hastings Prince Edward Public Health has identified that anyone who attended those events are now considered to be a high-risk contact.
Those people are being asked to self-isolate and get tested.
Those who are fully vaccinated are considered to be a low-risk contact, and therefore should get tested and monitor for symptoms until August 12th.
The update comes as health officials continue to encourage everyone to get vaccinated.
Hastings Prince Edward Public Health reported two new cases on Wednesday, for a total of 13 active cases in the region.
New local numbers will be released Friday.
