It’s an exciting time here at Loyalist as the Lancers continue to prepare for the upcoming season, after not playing last year due to the pandemic.
This week, the Lancers have announced their tryout schedule for the fall.
Students will be required to pre-register, and those who haven’t done so in advance will be able to check-in about an hour before.
Health and safety measures will be in place and athletes will have to provide information for contract tracing purposes. Students will be required to bring their own equipment as necessary, water and a mask.

The College announced last month that they are planning to kick off the school year at full capacity.
Staff have noted that it will be mandatory for only those in Residence and on Varsity teams to be fully vaccinated.
“It is our expectation that all students and employees who plan to access our campuses in person this Fall will be fully vaccinated,” said Loyalist College President and CEO, Dr. Ann Marie Vaughan.
As part of Loyalist College’s vaccination plan, all athletes who are successful in making a varsity team must sign an attestation form stating that they have received an approved COVID-19 vaccination before they may compete or travel with the team.
