Brandon Baker is a Métis artist who hails from Edmonton. In 2019, his project was named as apart of the CBC Searchlight Top 100. This song is from his new album, “Tragic Lover.”
Black Belt Eagle Scout – I Said I Wouldn’t Write This Song
- This song continues to appear on a number of indigenous music charts.
- Katherine Paul is behind the project and she is based in Portland, Oregon.
- This is from her second album, “At Home With My Brown Friends.”
Drives The Common Man – Logged Off

Andrew Stevens hails from southern Ontario. His debut single, “Night Vision” was released back in the spring and lit up the Indigenous Music Countdown. Here is his second single that was released in July.
The Halluci Nation – Land Back
- The duo released this song last year under their former name, A Tribe Called Red.
- Tim (2oolman) Hill and Ehren (Bear Witness) Thomas collaborated with Boogey the Beat and Chippewa Travellers.
