In a world where many bad things happen right under our noses. It always makes me happy when people find a way to bring that darkness to light, and one that I saw yesterday is pretty creative.
There was a girl in a car on the highway that gave a hand signal to another car that means domestic abuse and it’s a signal to ask for help, it was actually created by a Canadian Organization to help people in need but it was made famous by tik tok.
The hand signal is holding your hand up with your palm facing outwards with all four fingers together like you are saying “stop”, you then put your thumb in your palm, like fold it in, the last step is to close your finger over your thumb making a fist with your thumb inside.
If you ever see this sign, don’t ignore it! If you need help and feel stuck, use it! Just remember, never play around with this, it’s a serious thing and we don’t need that whole “boy who cried wolf” thing to affect this!
