This Saturday the 18th annual ‘Savour the Chill’ soup contest will be taking place in Downtown Belleville.
The contest is looking to be back in full force after missing last year due to Covid-19, as this year there is 13 restaurants taking place.
The restaurants include, Bourbon Street Pizza, Burger Revolution, Capers, Chilangos, Dinkel’s, Export Grill, Gourmet Diem, Jim’s, The Lark, Quinte Corner, The Smokin 116 Bistro, Toro Sushi and Sans-Souci.
It is advised to bring cash for the soup platters which will be $3 each.
You can vote for your favourite soup to win the ‘People’s Choice Award’ while the Judge’s will vote on their winner for the ‘Judge’s Choice Award.’
Remember to dress warmly as the contest is taking place, no matter the weather and will begin at noon until the soup runs out.
