We are so fortunate in this region to live near two provincial parks, and over the past few years more and more people are joining in on the fun.

Prince Edward County has announced today what Ontario Parks plans to do this summer about daily vehicle permits.
County residents are being asked to read up on the rules so they can continue to access Sandbanks and North Beach Provincial Parks easy.
This year again, you will have to book ahead to make sure you get a spot at the local parks and 31 other popular parks across Ontario. Bookings will open Monday, May 16. Permits can be booked up to five days before your visit. If you don’t book ahead, you may run the risk of not being allowed in. Vehicles are not permitted if all the spots are booked up, a situation that happened a fair bit last year.
If you have a season pass from last year, they will remain valid for this season.
