Following a hot weekend here in Quinte, the City of Belleville has released an update about when the splash pads will be open.
Three outdoor splash pads will be open for families to use as of this Friday.
Here are the locations:
- West Riverside Splash Pad – 344 Moira St. East
- Selma Bochnek Splash Pad – 119 Birch St.
- Kinsmen Splash Pad – 151 Dundas St. East
The splash pads will be open everyday between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m. The City will scale back after Labour Day, and open them only on the weekends until Thanksgiving Monday.
The Kinsmen Community Outdoor Pool will start to run public swims as of June 30. Details will also be released about the pool schedule at the Quinte Sports and Wellness Centre.
