91X has teamed up with Volunteer Information Quinte to share all the volunteer opportunities in Hastings and Prince Edward counties.

Here is how you can help this week:
- The Empire Theatre and the City of Quinte West are gearing up for two big summer concerts in July. Toronto band Dwayne Gretzky will be performing in Trenton on July 2. Empire Rockfest will be happening in downtown Belleville on July 14, 15, 16. Organizers are looking for volunteers that can help with scanning tickets, checking people in, and selling drinks in the bar area is they have their Smart Serve credentials. Contact the Empire Theatre if you are interested.
- Museums of Prince Edward County is seeking volunteers to assist with various positions within the 5 sites Macaulay House, Ameliasburgh Heritage Village, Wellington Heritage Museum, Mariner & Park Museum, and Rose House Museum. Volunteers can assist with front desk reception, dress in costume and deliver programming, host positions and events.
- National Air Force Museum of Canada is looking for people who could greet and assist visitors at the museum. Knowledge and interest in aviation history and science and technology is an asset.
- Prince Edward Learning Centre is currently seeking volunteers to assist with the Good Food Market. Duties include setting up for weekly market, organizing produce, greeting shoppers, and clean up after weekly market. Other positions required include COVID-19 screening, and delivering items.
- *Quinte Museum of Natural History is looking for people would could help greet and guide visitors in the museum.
- Community Care South Hastings needs volunteer drivers to take individuals on local and long-distance trips that may include stops for necessities. You’ll be reimbursed for your mileage. Training will be provided.
- Belleville General Hospital Foundation is seeking a volunteer to act as a Mascot. Dr Max the Moose travels to various events and fundraisers. Bookings for Dr. Max the Moose could take place anytime of year, are often outside.
- YouthHab is currently seeking individuals from the community to sit on their Board Of Directors. The board oversees the Governance of the agency. Meetings are held monthly. Board members are asked to sit on one committee. Training and orientation is provided by present board members.
- Quinte West Youth Centre needs people to supervise young people between the ages of 10 and 18 years old. Volunteers will lead activities and games to inspire youth involvement. Programs include cooking, arts and crafts, sports, homework help, recreational games.
