Ethan Fraser will be joining the Trenton Golden Hawks heading into the new season. The 19-year-old from Belleville is a familiar opponent to local teams, playing in the OJHL’s East division with the Lindsay Muskies.
He finished off last season with the Muskies with 12 wins and 15 losses. The Muskies finished last in the OJHL’s East Division with a 20-28 record.
“Fraser played in a tough East Division in his first season in the Ontario Junior Hockey League. He saw a lot of shots and tough ones at that. I believe this has made him a better goaltender. We are bringing Fraser in to be an even stronger goaltender and we are excited about having him. It is also great to have a Bay of Quinte resident and a graduate of the Quinte Red Devils here. We believe he will be a great fit for both sides,” said Jerome Dupont, Head Coach and General Manager of the Trenton Golden Hawks, in a statement released Sunday.
Fraser is a graduate of the Quinte Red Devils program and was picked by the Flint Firebirds in the OHL U18 Priority Selection.
