Last night in downtown Belleville may have been fun, but the fun isn’t stopping yet! Are you ready for it? The first EVER Caribbean Festival here in Belleville? Because it’s happening today!
It’s happening in downtown Belleville in the same spot as Downtown @ Dusk, on Front Street Between Bridge St and Victoria Ave.
It’s a day where the city and its people can celebrate Caribbean culture through food, art, costumes, dance, and music!
There will be a pretty amazing lineup of local performers including dancers, singers, and even steel pan players on the main stage for people to enjoy.
There will also be a performance by Juno award winning R&B singer/songwriter Sean Jones and the band Righteous Echo!
There will also be an artisan market, a photo booth, face painting for kids, and domino tables for people to enjoy.
With such a beautiful day ahead of us, it’s like mother nature herself wants us to have a day to remember to kick off the first ever Caribbean Festival here in Belleville!
Just be sure to bring a hat and sunscreen, it will be hot today! Feeling like 34 with the humidity.
91x hopes to see you there! Robert will be under the 91x tent again, so if you see him, come up, say hi, and enter in the summer draw for a chance to win a BMX bike from Doug’s Bicycle!
