One person has died following the weekend shooting in Belleville

Belleville Police have that a man has died following a shooting on North Front Street over the weekend.

Officers responded to reports of a shooting on Sunday morning outside an establishment on North Front Street. Emergency crews arrived on scene at around 2 a.m. to find a man with gunshot wounds. He was transported to hospital.

Police have announced that 34-year-old Jesse Weekes of Quinte West has died. No arrests have been made in connection to the incident.
