Prince Edward County encouraging resident to make sure they are registered to vote this fall

Municipalities across the Quinte region continue to issue reminders heading into the fall municipal election.

Prince Edward County is reminding residents and taxpayers today to make sure they are on the voter list. Folks have until Friday, August 12 to go to voterlookup.ca and check.

Those who log on can make sure their information is up to date and they are formally registered.

Election Day will take place on October 24. Ontario residents who are Canadian citizen and 18 years of age and older are eligible to vote in the municipal and school board elections.
