Plans are changing for the Bay of Quinte Skyway Bridge
The Highway 49 bridge that connects the eastern side of Prince Edward County with the Tyendinaga area, has been under construction for a while.
Crews originally planned to do a full overnight closure starting on Thursday, August 11 at 9 p.m. The bridge would have been back open on Friday, August 12 at 6 a.m.
Now due to the forecast, the overnight closure has been moved.
The new date will be Monday, August 15. The bridge will close that day at 9 p.m. and be back open on Tuesday, August 16 at 6 a.m. Drivers are encouraged to use the Glenora Ferry
