The Hastings Plowing Match is back for the first time since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The plowing match is happening today and tomorrow at the Striker Farm. The farm is located at 2139 Frankford Road in Quinte West.
The Hastings County Plowmen’s Association Committee is scaling some things back this year due to the pandemic. There will not be the big tent city that we’re used to seeing. Over 20 vendors have signed up for this year’s event.
The tractor and horse plowing will be happening as well as antique tractor displays. A children’s area will be set up for young families.
