Here’s this weeks Indie 5 at 5!
#5 – Yeah Yeah Yeahs – Burning
- New music on the Indie 5 at 5! This new single dropped earlier this month, following their first single featuring Perfume Genius, Spitting Off The Edge Of The World. Both songs are from the bands first album in 9 years, Cool It Down, releasing at the end of September!
#4 – Kiwi Jr. – Unspeakable Things
- Dropping down one spot from last week, these Toronto rockers dropped their 3rd studio album, Chopper, a few weeks ago. Next month, they tour throughout Europe!
#3 – Giant Rooks – Morning Blue
- This band from Germany climb one spot from last week. It’s their 2nd week on, and they’ll be touring later this year with various stops around the world, with a show in Toronto this winter!
#2 – Michigander – Stay Out of It
- This single dropped last month from this Detroit based indie act. It’s their 4th week on and they don’t move an inch. They’ll be touring around the states later this year, opening for Wilderado!
#1 – W3APONS – Hope on the Radio
- In only their 3rd week on the Indie 5 at 5, this trio from Saskatoon are in the top spot for the 2nd week in a row! This song comes off their latest LP, Adios Radio!
