The City of Belleville has released details today about the Festival of Lights.
The official kick-off for the holiday display will be held on Friday, November 18 at West Zwick’s Park. The event will run from 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., and will feature food trucks, vendors, a performance by Turpin’s Trail, and Santa. Fireworks will be weather permitting. The City will be offering a free shuttle bus from the downtown terminal during the duration of the event.
The holiday light displays will be at Jane Forrester Park from November 18 to January 3. There is a new Diya display this year. Which is lit during Diwali. To learn more and see if you can help out, visit Belleville.ca/FestivalofLights.
Belleville Downtown District BIA also plans to host an Enchanted event that will start on November 18.
