Location for the Belleville Warming Centre / City of Belleville.
Belleville will open its warming centre tonight, as the region gets ready for a winter storm.
The location this year will be at the old Belleville Police station, located on Dundas Street East.
The warming centre will run every day from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m. until March 31.
People are encouraged to use public facilities during the day to stay warm when the centre is closed.
The City of Belleville continues to remind people that beds and meals are not provided at the overnight warming centre.
Those in need of further assistance can call Hastings County Community and Human Services at 613-771-9630 between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. The After-Hours Emergency Line is another option. The team can be reached at 1-877-528-9514 between 4:30 p.m. and 8:30 a.m.
