A popular winter event in Batawa is returning this year after a COVID-19 hiatus.
The Quinte West Pond Hockey Classic will take place on February 4th and February 5th. The outdoor event in Batawa helps support Wounded Warriors Canada and the Trenton Memorial Hospital Foundation.
The event is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year!
The adult tournament will take place on Saturday from 8 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. The format is four on four, which will guarantee that teams will get three games in the round robin. The three divisions will be Competitive, Non-Competitive and “Old Timers” (35+). The youth event will take place on Sunday from 9 a.m. to 3 pm.
The deadline for teams to apply is January 27.
