Gleaners Food Banks is celebrating the 20th anniversary of its Shamrocks On The Wall campaign.
The fundraiser is running all month.
Local businesses and restaurants have paper shamrocks for sale. The cost is a minimum $5 donation. All the money goes to Gleaners food bank.
Staff and volunteers assisted over 21,000 clients last year with food, twice as many people compared to 2021.
Here’s the breakdown from last year:
- 6,934 children
- 14,626 adults
- 1,654 seniors

The team will have a leprechaun colouring contest at the Quinte Mall from March 15 to March 17. Visitors can also participate in a silent auction.
