Highway 401 east of Belleville remains closed following a fatal collision this morning.
Lennox and Addington OPP have announced in a statement, that two transport tracks and a passenger vehicle crashed on the highway just before 6:30 a.m.
The incident happened between the County Road 49 ad Shannonville Road exits.
The OPP say that one person was pronounced dead at the scene. Another person was transported to hospital with serious injuries. No names have been released.
Police continue to investigate.
