The City of Belleville has released some more information this week about the Homelessness Summit.
The community-wide event will take place on Thursday, April 13 at the Quinte Sports and Wellness Centre.
A variety of organizations and partners will kick off the discussions at 9 a.m. in the gym.
“We know homelessness is a serious issue in our community. This is an opportunity for the City to come together with our community partners, set clear goals and be able to enact real change. We look forward to this collaboration and creating a path forward for a Belleville where everyone has a place to call home,” said Belleville Mayor Neil Ellis, in a statement released by the City.
The event will be open to the public, and there will be an online survey posted in the future. Those who can’t make it can watch the discussions live through the City’s YouTube Channel
