Two members with Belleville Police Service receive awards from the Governor General

A current and former member of the Belleville Police Service have been recognized by the Governor General of Canada.

Current Deputy Police Chief Chris Barry and retired member Nadine Langlois have been made members of the Order of Merit of the Police Force.

Belleville Police say in a statement, that the ceremony was held in Ottawa this week.

The Order of Merit of the Police Forces was established in 2000.
