Residents who wish to get a COVID-19 vaccine, have another option in Picton next week.
The Prince Edward Family Health Team will be hosting a clinic on Tuesday, April 25.
The clinic will be open from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Prince Edward Community Centre for those who book appointments through the provincial portal. The clinic on Tuesday will be the last one at the community centre.
“On behalf of County Council, I would like to thank the Prince Edward Family Health Team, our local health unit, and the many volunteers who gave their time to help out at these clinics. We are very fortunate to have this health-care service available locally to our residents. Everyone truly came together as a community and are stronger because of it,” said Prince Edward County Mayor Steve Ferguson, in a press release.
Details about other vaccination clinics will be posted on the Hastings Prince Edward Public Health website.
