
This week on “In Touch With Quinte,” we started the show with a discussion about the National Day of Awareness for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls and Two-Spirit People.
Chief R. Donald Maracle with the Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte joined us to talk about the crisis.
There will be a candlelight vigil tonight in Belleville at 7 p.m. All community members are invited to attend at Market Square.
A Red Dress Walk will take place tomorrow from Belleville City Hall to the boat launch in Shannonville. The walk starts at 8 a.m. and is expected to take roughly three hours.
