Glenora Ferry ramping up service later this month

Ferry service will be ramping up later this month, in anticipation of another busy tourist season.

The Ministry of Transportation has announced that the Glenora Ferry will run every 15-minutes during peak hours as of Saturday, May 20.

The May long weekend will also usher in two boats, which will be running only on the weekends until the Canada Day long weekend.

After that, both boats will be running seven days a week until the Thanksgiving weekend in October.

Here’s the schedule breakdown when two boats are running:

• 30-minute service — 6 a.m. to 10 a.m.
• 15-minute service — 10:15 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
• 30-minute service — 7:30 p.m. to 1:15 a.m.
