A partial burn ban has been issued today in Prince Edward County.
Residents can currently only have a fire in a container with a screened top or a small traditional campfire. BBQs and fire tales can still be used.
The update is due to the current weather and ground conditions.
Prince Edward County continues to remind residents that they must have a burn permit for all open-air burning.
