Prince Edward County has several events planned leading up to Canada Day on July 1st.
The team has announced PECelebrates. Several community events will take place, starting Saturday, June 24.
The events will highlight Pride, Indigenous History Month, Indigenous Peoples Day, Multiculturalism Day, St. Jean Baptiste Day and Canada Day.
Shire Hall in Picton will be all lit up to mark each occasion.

Revel: Celebrating Diversity in PEC (June 24)
Revel is produced by The County Museums and features several events and activities throughout June with a showcase event on Saturday, June 24 from 12 pm (noon) to 4 pm at Macaulay Heritage Park in Picton. Revel celebrates Indigenous Peoples Day, Indigenous History Month and Multiculturalism Day with music, food, art and community partnerships. Wellington Street Dance & Drone Show (June 30)
A great County tradition, the Wellington Recreation Committee is excited to bring back the Wellington Street Dance as well as a new Drone Show on the evening of June 30 in downtown Wellington. The event starts at 5:30 pm with food vendors in the park and continues with live music by Cue the Funk from 6:30 to 9:30 pm on Wellington Main Street. The evening wraps up with a new drone show at 9:50 pm, which can be viewed from Wellington Rotary Beach or Wellington Park. Wellington Main Street will be closed to vehicular traffic between Maple Street and Wharf Street from 5:30 pm to 11 pm. BYO water bottle! Canada Day at Benson Park / Picton Main Street (July 1)
Produced in partnership by the Picton BIA and Picton Recreation Committee, the Picton Main Street Craft Crawl takes place from 11 am – 4 pm and the sidewalk sale runs all day at participating businesses. Visit Benson Park for live music (Cue the Funk from 12 pm (noon) – 2 pm and Roper & Roper from 2-4 pm), giant games, tasty treats, and more summery festivities! More information is online here.
Canada Day Fireworks at Roblin Lake
Put on by the Ameliasburgh Recreation Committee, the fireworks at Roblin Lake will include light entertainment, children’s activities and fireworks at dusk.
