Section of Highway 2 Westbound closed in Quinte West

Drivers have a new detour to navigate in Quinte West.

Highway 2 Westbound from 2nd Dug Hill Road to County Road 40 is closed starting today.

The closure will run until 7 p.m. tonight, and resume Friday and Monday each day from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Crews are working on the water main. Highway 2 Eastbound as well as local traffic will still remain accessible.

Detour:

-Highway 2 westbound traffic: south on 2nd Dug Hill Road, west on County Road 33, and north on County Road 40. See the detour map below.
