Prince Edward County is helping seniors get out and explore the area.
County Transit will be offering adults 55 and over, the chance to book a free ride to some upcoming community events.
The provincial government has provided the funding.
Events:
- Picton Fair (Saturday, September 9)
- Milford Fair (Saturday, September 16)
- Mobility Workshop and Medical Scooter Rodeo (Wednesday, September 20)
- Ameliasburgh Fair (Saturday, September 23)
- Seniors Fair (Thursday, November 2)
- Remembrance Day Ceremonies in Picton, Wellington and Consecon (Saturday, November 11)
Residents can book a ride by calling 1-855-283-9640 or 613-392-9640. Space on the bus is limited.
