Local students in the region have a chance to learn more about medical school.
Docs By The Bay Physician Recruitment and Retention program will be hosting the 5th annual Medical School 101 event.
The virtual information session over ZOOM will take place on Thursday, September 21st at 6 p.m.
Students will be able to learn more about a variety of roles in the healthcare sector and about how to apply to medical school.
“It is important for us to connect early on with local students are interested in medicine, so that we can begin to develop relationships with them as they proceed through their education. We hope that these students will decide to return to our area to practice medicine one day. This makes our recruitment job much easier, as they already know what a great area we live in so we don’t have the convince them of that. We just have to let them know we want them to come back home,” said Manager Paula Mason, in a statement released today.
