Brighton is getting ready for Applefest!
The annual celebration will take place next weekend.
Main Street in Brighton will be closed to traffic on Saturday, September 23 for the vendor market. The full road closure on Main Street will start at 6 a.m. and run from Ontario Street to Prince Edward Street.
Any vehicles left on Main street after 5 a.m. on Saturday will be towed.
Other road notices to keep in mind:
-Young Street will be closed north of County Road 30 on Sunday, September 24. The closure will start at 11 a.m. to accommodate some Applefest events.
-There will be no parking at Proctor Park that weekend. Shuttle buses will be running around the town during the event.
